At WECERT Training Academy, we collect and process personal data about you when you interact with us and our services, as well as when you make purchases of Training Courses from us. The personal data we gather may include:

- Payment and delivery details, including billing and delivery addresses and credit card details; (if applicable)

3. With whom and where will we share your personal data?
We may share your personal data with our subsidiaries to process it for the purposes of inter-group administration and to deliver products or services where elements of these are provided by WECERT Divisions other than those with which you have directly contracted. Additionally, we may share your personal data with the following third parties:
- Our professional advisors such as our auditors and external legal and financial advisors;
- Marketing and communications agencies where they have agreed to process your personal data in line with this Privacy Notice;
- Our suppliers, business partners, and sub-contractors;
- Search engine and web analytics providers; and
- Exemplar Global for Training Certificates Issuing and Registration purposes
Personal data may also be shared with government authorities and/or law enforcement officials if required for the purposes above, if mandated by law, or if needed for the legal protection of our legitimate interests in compliance with applicable laws. Furthermore, personal data may be disclosed to third-party service providers who will process it on behalf of WECERT for the purposes above, including but not limited to providers of website hosting, maintenance, call center operation, and identity checking.
In the event that our business or any part of it is sold or integrated with another business, your details will be disclosed to our advisers and those of any prospective purchaser and will be passed to the new owners of the business.
Sharing Trainee Information with Exemplar Global
For courses held under Exemplar Global Accreditation, some information such as trainee name, email address, and the training course(s) that he/she has participated in would be shared with this company. Their privacy policy can be found at Exemplar Global Privacy Policy
4. How long will we keep your personal data?
At WECERT, we are committed to retaining your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the original or a compatible purpose. In certain instances, we may be obliged to retain specific information by law or due to our role as the National Standards Body. Additionally, we retain data for a reasonable duration to meet regulatory or accreditation requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce our terms and conditions. In such cases, your personal data will only be processed for the relevant legitimate purpose and will not be used for marketing.
For our customers, we retain personal data for the duration of any contractual relationship with us. After the conclusion of this relationship, we retain the data for up to 3 years.
If you are a prospective customer who has provided explicit consent for us to contact you, we will retain your personal data until:
- you unsubscribe from our communications;
- you cease interaction with us and our content; or
- for a period of 2 years from your last interaction with us or our content.
Regarding any communication with our customer services team, we will retain your details for as long as necessary to resolve your query and for an additional two weeks after the query is closed.
In certain circumstances, we may retain your personal data beyond the specified retention period to facilitate review and deletion processes. Once your personal data is no longer required, we securely dispose of it in accordance with our Document & Information Retention Policy.
5. Financial Transactions
Financial transactions relating to our website and services are handled by our payment services providers Mashreq Bank and Stripe. We will share transaction data with our payment services providers only to the extent necessary for the purposes of processing your payments, refunding such payments, and dealing with complaints and queries relating to such payments and refunds.
