Introduction

The main focus of this course is to provide participants with a solid understanding of a fundamental principles and concepts of ISO 14001 that includes:

comprehension of the  environmental policy, identification of environmental aspects and impacts, establishment of objectives and targets, conduction of internal audits, management of corrective actions and etc.

By the end of this two-day course, you will have the ability to create and and implement an efficient environmental management system that adheres to ISO 14001 requirements. this will involve understanding the necessary documentation, developing and maintaining procedures and ensuring compliance with with applicable legal regulatory obligations.

What do you need to prepare

  • A basic understanding of environmental issues before attending this course would be advantageous, but not essential
  • To have conducted internal audits in any of the following disciplines: quality management, health and safety and/or environment would equally be advantageous, but not essential
  • Ideally you will have attended our ISO 14001 Appreciation and Interpretation

Course Length

  • For the virtual courses, 16 hours delivered in 2 sessions or 16 hours delivered in 4 sessions
  • 2 days for the traditional face to face classroom course.
