• The process of auditing FSMS for conformance and effectiveness.
• Thorough preparation methods for audits, including the development of process-based checklists.
• Techniques for gathering and evaluating objective evidence related to food safety practices.
• How to identify both conformance and non-conformance with ISO 22000 requirements.
• Accurate reporting of audit findings against ISO 22000 standards.
• Writing and grading non-conformity reports and assessing proposals for corrective action.
• Relating audit findings to the food safety policy and objectives of the organization.
• Presentation of audit results and evaluations to top management for review and action.

• Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 and experience of auditing
• Basic understanding of how organization works and the role of top management
• Complete approximately 2 hours of pre-course work prior to attending the course
